YR Dr. Wise, Dr. Milan, Christi, Val, and all the staff,
Thanks again. Sabrina Su (Beanie)
Thanks to all of you for being so wonderful to my very extra-special little doxie girl! We love you so much! Love, Marmalade
Toby
On Christmas Eve (2005) my then almost two-year-old dog, Toby, started showing signs of an obstructed bowel. As it turns out, Toby had ingested some large piece of bone while running and playing in the country. The only option to save him was to remove the piece of bone that had pierced his intestine. It was considered a high-risk surgery and the potential for infection after surgery was not in our favor. That afternoon, Dr. Milan and Dr. Wise skillfully removed six inches of his ileum as well as the boney structure. The next few days were touch and go, and because Toby needed to be watched closely he stayed at the clinic. During this time the entire staff was attentive to Toby and communicative with me about his status. Toby recovered completely and continues to enjoy a full life. I am so grateful to Wilcrest Animal Hospital for saving Toby’s life and for their commitment to their clients. Sincerely, |
